the criticism isn't that they don't play the first ep & album any more. of course they don't, nobody really expects them to. the criticism is that nothing they have done since has been even a fraction of the quality.
Just gotta learn to live with it, guys.
He gets high off it but he should learn from sonofhal what it take to have manners. London's music scene> NYC music scene.
I'm not sure if this has already been dealt with, but I received an email confirming me as one of the first 100 people purchasing a Tycho ticket for the show at Troubadour 1/13 who would receive a free poster. It said to bring ID and a copy of the email in order to obtain the free poster. Hope you guys got this email as well !
Keane was pretty great.
Keane is never fucking great. The singer is very lucky I didnt peg him in the head with a water bottle in Coachella 2005 .
So did I.
And I didn't expect that at all. I didn't buy our tickets until last week. (I wondered aloud to my husband whether there'd be only be like 75 people at the show.) Beautiful poster, though. So yeah, I'm stoked, too.
I didnt have anything to throw :(
Shorter people standing near you?
And yeah, I blame Wilco for making all of us stand through that.
how's Tycho live? I'm thinking about going to the belly up show
Good to hear. Thanks! Think i might grab a ticket
I'm a little late on this, but Yeah Yeah Yeahs was a perfect little show last Friday. Although the new songs didn't really blow me away, the songs from the rest of their catalogue were very impressive. The band is such a powerhouse and Karen is just so primal I think she's gonna come off the stage and pounce. I wish her vocals were higher for some songs but nicks guitar just beat it out which isn't that bad thinking about it.
Also, very excited to see Tycho, after how awesome he was at FYF. You should definitely see him if you have a chance.
would love a tycho ticket if someone has an extra
I just picked up a ticket for that Constellation show in Santa Ana. Belly Up still had tickets available too.
Best news ever:) Definitely hitting this up....
Arts & Crafts artists Broken Social Scene, Feist, Bloc Party, Ra Ra Riot, Cold Specks, Timber Timbre, Hayden, Trust, the Darcys, Jason Collett, Zeus, Gold & Youth, and Still Life Still are among the performers.Quote:
On June 8th we are going to play ONE SHOW in our hometown to honour the ten years of our label.
The goal is to play our guts out with the songs we spent the last decade living with.
We are hoping for this to be the entrance into summer with a community vibe and a old school celebration. Try to come out and be a part of it.
See you soon....bss
Awesome show. $75 though? I'm getting seriousy tired of ticket price gouging.
Tycho was Fantastic last night at the Troubadour. I forgot how Good the live drummer is after realizing that when I saw them at FYF last year. Not sure what the set list was, but he played several new songs which sounded Great. Looks to be the same visuals he had when they played FYF. Scored a free poster as well :)
Yessss I'm so excited for Tycho. Their drummer is nuts
Because it should be in here too.
