Did he say that was his son. It was my first time seeing him and haven't listened to too much of his stuff but the kid with the electric guitar had a great voice. Just trying to get more info on him

Yes it was his son lucas and the boy could play some blues. His other son (forgot his name) was a percussionist.

He sounded a lot like Janis Joplin.

When I saw Willie at the Michigan state fair back in the early 70s, maybe even late 60s. I remember he had his daughter and other relatives in the band. They should call his act, The Willie Nelson Family.

Funny thing is, he looks exactly the same as he did back then. The crowd back then, though, was maybe 500 people.

He also had his daughter on piano for a song and the souvenir bandanas had "Willie Nelson and Family" pritned on them.

Well they were introduced as Willie Nelson and Family but yeah his son is pretty amazing, texas flood was a nice surprise

Luke Nelson did a way beyond awesome job. I can't believe he is only 17. I can't wait until he comes out with his own stuff. Im excited to see what he will do in the future.

I'm thinking of going to see him July 4th at The Gorge in WA. Willie, Son Volt, Drive By Truckers, Old 97's ..... ga is only $35 !
