May be renting a Bus and driving to california. IS there any interest ? The Bus would be leaving from P.E.I and then going in through moncton, and fredricton, then Montreal Ottawa And Toronto before heading west. If you live in any of those places or close to one of them and want to go let me know? Because i need to know how many people will be in the bus before i can figure out what it will cost. Thanks

The Rage is relentles

01-26-2007, 10:53 AM
I'd be down but I'm from Winnipeg.

If you head west across Canada, I would probably be in, but it's a much quicker drive going through the States,

01-26-2007, 01:44 PM

01-27-2007, 10:56 AM
I have four people in toronto with tickets puchased as of today, we're campin onsite for all three days. This would be amazing, and we would pitch cash for sure. Shoot me an email at siestacat@hotmail.com within the next week or two, or we're buying plane tickets.

01-28-2007, 09:25 AM
i live in toronto.
my bf and i just bought tix, we are thinking of flying from buffalo to L.A., then driving to coachella from there. found a cheap price to do that: $300CAN per person!
we would consider other options though. let me know more about the bus option.... but must move fast! don't want to miss out on opportunities! :)
also, if anyone else wants to do the flying thing and join us on the trek from L.A. to coachella, let us know. :)

01-28-2007, 04:22 PM
awesome idea, you'd get enough people easy. i would be interested for 2-3 people- Coachella or bust!!!

01-28-2007, 06:54 PM
Could you possibly swing through Minnesota on your way to Cali?

01-28-2007, 07:58 PM
I just mapquested, out of bored interest, charlottetown pei to indio ca.... 5752 km. fuck!!!!

01-28-2007, 10:32 PM

01-29-2007, 07:19 AM
two more that would be in toronto are interested!

i really hope this gets going, its a much cheaper option than flying.

01-29-2007, 06:50 PM
three more from toronto are in for sure (only two would be coming back...i'm assuming this is a roundtrip deal?) please email me when this plan starts to take form. either way, anyone from toronto with a car should get on here and fill their car up with people. we can take a caravan of people down! or something...anyways, make sure you all got your passports. can't wait.

01-30-2007, 08:53 AM
I'm living in Toronto and i definitely interest, i was checking the prices of the flights and going from Buffalo to LA is really not that expensive, anyways i think the bus will be less expensive and more fun!
Can't wait me neither!

01-30-2007, 09:08 AM

02-07-2007, 07:47 PM
I'd be down but I'm from Winnipeg.

I'm in the same boat as this guy. If you do venture as far west as winnipeg I would be in.

02-10-2007, 06:14 PM
Got 3 here from Toronto... WIlling to bus, fly or carpool with a big group as long as it gets us tehre and isn't too pricey!

02-10-2007, 06:15 PM
Hi! I'm from newfoundland. Wouldn't mind getting that bus in Toronto.

Could you give some specific times/dates. IE, when you'd leave, expected travel time... Dates you'd be in a certain city etc.

I can only imagine how much fun a bus trip up would be! We could even have the bus there to keep our stuff safe for those camping on the grounds.

02-11-2007, 11:57 AM
I'd be down for a bus or a carpoll.

Hit me up on MSN @ zerocoolseal@hotmail.com

02-12-2007, 11:36 AM
what's the status on getting this bus going? can "RichDarkroast" fill us in on details and how to get hooked up and stuff? cause it seems that there are quite enough people going to cover costs. so i encourage "RichDarkroast" to post details on this.

email me thebleedingorder@hotmail.com when something comes up. thanks.

02-13-2007, 01:56 PM
Yeah, i might try to look into renting a bus from Nova Scotia. What other eastern canadians be up for it? Anyone got any idea about the shared cost would be?

02-13-2007, 07:17 PM
any news on the bus(es)? ( I see two people willing to rent them )

hopefully it's something reliable, wouldn't want to miss the concert if it breaks down. i vote to factor in an extra day or two for any possible problems.

maybe we should start an email list or something more private so we can start getting things together.

anyone know of any driving regulation problems? like bringing a bus over the border... do you need a special license to drive one? or can anyone just go rent and drive one...

02-13-2007, 07:24 PM
You need a special license.

02-13-2007, 07:59 PM
hey fellow canadians, can ANYONE help a sad, ticket-less bastard out?!

02-14-2007, 05:51 AM
hhahahahaa! oh man, i'm sorry, that's so funny though. i don't have a ticket for you. but good luck finding one. who knew it would sell out so quickly eh!?

on another note. i went to a site and looked into chartering a coach bus for 57 people from coachcanada. i have yet to get a reply for an estimate. but i think $250 a person should cover it both ways. as soon as i hear back about legalities and the such I'll post again.

ps. i'm still laughing at "snelgrove" for not having a ticket. that's a funny post. lol. anywho. now i'm just wasting space.

02-14-2007, 06:41 AM
hey fellow canadians, can ANYONE help a sad, ticket-less bastard out?!

there's a bunch available on ebay. but you gotta spend a little more. i think i saw a buy it now at cost from a canadian.

good luck!

02-14-2007, 08:10 AM
you guys should just pitch in and buy an old school bus.

02-14-2007, 12:18 PM
I'm willing to go in on a bus to coachella, i'm from kitchener but would be willing to get on in toronto or london. As long as it is reasonably priced less then $400, and would this bus be stopping over nights and stuff? like how long would it take?

Also, is in anyone actually organizing this?
you can contact me at WBROUGHTON@rogers.com

02-18-2007, 10:56 AM
If people are still planning on doing this, Me and 2 others are really interested and would have no problem pitching in on gas, we are from the kingston, Ontario area... Get back to me at mitchellcawley@hotmail.com

02-18-2007, 11:50 AM
2 of us in toronto are down... post up some more info or email it to me... if anyone is driving or busing it from T.O. then let me know...

02-28-2007, 11:38 PM
what's the deal?

03-29-2007, 06:23 AM
guess this is dead.

i still haven't figured a way up.

03-29-2007, 11:03 AM
I got room for one, leaving from Ottawa. We can pick up from anywhere along the 401. Someone to share in the driving would be preferable. PM me if interested.

03-29-2007, 11:47 AM
I might have room for two in my car for the Toronto -> Coachella and Coachella ->Toronto drive....we're doing it in 48 hours, leaving around five on tuesday and aiming to be at the campsite by 5 on thursday...leaving monday morning and making it back by five on wednesday.

Girls are always preferred companions!

03-29-2007, 01:46 PM
2 of us in Michigan are very interested! We could meet in somewhere in ON, or will you be passing through?

03-29-2007, 06:16 PM
Anyone who was interested grab me on MSN, if we can find anyone that meshes with our plans we'll work something out :D

04-09-2007, 10:42 AM
