I initially misread the thread title as "Adventures in time: Who's in?", and I totally was.

But yeah, this is a good one.

My nephew was watching this show one day in late Spring/early Summer 2010 when I happened to be busy in the next room doing something and not really paying attention. But I recognized John DiMaggio's voice as Jake, so I wandered into the room and sat down to watch a couple of episodes. I believe the first one was The Witch's Garden. I though the plot wasn't all that, but the action & dialogue intrigued me.

I don't remember what the second ep that I saw was, but I remember liking it more than the one I had seen previously. I do remember the third ep we watched that day was Tree Trunks and I liked that one, too. I know we watched a fourth ep and I want to say that one was either The Enchiridion or My Two Favorite People. Either way, I dug both of those eps. I particularly dig that Lady Rainicorn speaks Korean - and we had the Closed Captioning on for that ep and her dialogue was translated to English in the Captioning! So that was cool. (Although, I have seen a couple more eps recently where her dialogue was not translated, so that was a bit of a bummer not to know what she said at the time.)

So then at San Diego Comic Con 2010, I got in line for the panel, but I was too far back in the line and didn't get in until the last 5 minutes. Also, I remember trying to chase down a Finn Hat at the Cartoon Network booth for my nephew, but I struck out every time.

At San Diego Comic Con 2011, I was able to get in to the panel, but due to having to report to a work shift at a booth, I was only able to stay for the first 15 minutes. The crowd was insane, which was cool. They gave out Finn hats and I was able to score one for my nephew before I had to leave. They screened the Theme Opening of Fiona and Cake, which was well received, to say the least. (I keep missing that ep, though, so I'm annoyed about not seeing it yet.)

My fingers are crossed that I get in to the AdventureTime panel at SDCC 2012.

And sorry if I am threadjacking here, but because of recording AT last year, I ended up getting hooked on Regular Show. Though I had no interest in watching RS, admittedly because the animation turned me off at first, it was on in between AT eps on Monday nights and so I left it on one time, instead of fast forwarding through it (Really Real Wrestling). Well, surprise surprise! I found myself LOLing at some dialogue. So the next time, I let it play again instead of fast-forwarding and found myself intrigued and laughing. Four eps later, including Appreciation Day and First Day (Pops: "I adore Rock, Paper, Scissors. Although, where I come from, we call it 'Quartz, Parchment, Shears'"), and I was hooked. Hooked, I say! And I almost bought this shirt the other day, but money is tight, so I had to pass:
