I like this performance ^^^ but I just don't see myself watching her set at Coachella.

Who's gonna see Feist? Talk me into it.

Feist is amazing she is not just some torch singer. She has a great personality and stage persona. She is lots of fun of the 3 times I have seen her she has been great.

Feist is one of my most anticipated sets. I've heard she is quite good live, and I dig her music.

With her and BSS making a few appearances in the last few years, I would love to see Fiona Apple instead.

But hey I don't write the lineup

You're making me want to suggest trading you for a real keg. ;)

Feist's lights show is quite cool. Assuming she gets a slot sometime after the sun begins to set

Can we get a title change? Or should we just start a new thread properly?

Let's not. Fiona Apple is great and everything but I would not be please AT ALL with a trade. Feist is one the acts that I am looking forward to the most, and she has a pretty good stage setup at her shows.

I love Feist's newest album. Its a huge step beyond anything she'd done before. (In my mind, I thank Joanna Newsom for this).

Fiona is tempting though... especially if she had some new material to perform.

artists are commodities that can be traded like cattle.

Feist Average 2012 Setlist Playlist on Spotify (http://open.spotify.com/user/01sundevil/playlist/3fE1LHD7NgaXYD3T2SrjPc)

Looks like she's not playing 1234 recently. Lame.

Forgot she was on the poster there's been so little buzz about her anymore. No recent Apple commercials or Sesame Street cameos. While it looks like 1234 is definitely out, the less poppy "How Come You Never Go There" and "Graveyard" are decent additions to her set.

Also this:

Pitchfork: Did the success of "1234" in particular change how you went about making Metals?

LF: Probably, on some subconscious level, I was motivated by not wanting to spoon-feed any similar flavors, "1234" specifically. But that was the only song I didn't write on The Reminder, so it wasn't like I had to purposely try not to write another "1234". I co-wrote it and arranged it and made it into a piece of The Reminder's puzzle, but it's [singer-songwriter] Sally [Seltmann]'s sentiment. It functioned inside the album, but when it was plucked out, it had less to do with the record than any other song on it.

"1234" started to speak on its own behalf. You know when you stare at the sun and then you look at something and you can't see anything because your retina's been burned out a bit? There was an external retina burning that happened with "1234", and it didn't really speak to the reality. It also cut a lot of tethers to the past that were really relevant to me. It was really double-edged. I had no motivation in me to try to get back to that place. So I needed to make sure that there wasn't a song on this album that that could happen with.

Feist has gone from a maybe to one of the most anticipated acts of the weekend for me. Metals is a great album.

Also this: 1234 explanation

I like that. Rarely do you get an artist explaining an issue like that so with so much depth.

I would love for them to add Fiona Apple. And though I want to see Fiona Apple more than Feist, I also want to see Feist. Plus, adding Fiona Apple to Saturday would definitely escalate the Conflict Threat Level to Code Red. Add her on Sunday, Goldenvoice.

Feist must stay as I am going to propose to marry her at Coachella.
