I have a very important plane to catch in Ontario on Monday. Can anyone share what it will be like on the 10 driving to LA on Monday?
I will probably be leaving around 7am.

the 10 is a mess in both directions. i would leave at 6 AM and skip the hassle. also, likelihood for accident is high.

What time is your flight? 7 AM is about the worst possible time to hit those freeways, you'll get fucking slaughtered. But if it's an afternoon flight, last year I think we left Indio between 10-11 and got to LAX by 4, maybe a little earlier, with no significant traffic problems. The 10 going through San Gabriel area can be kinda brutal no matter what, but what you really want to avoid is the 7-10 AM and 5-7 PM sections for the most part.

There won't be a lot of traffic from the Coachella crowd, but it is driving through LA, so leave as early as you can.

I would leave around 5am and get to where you have to go. Then have a good breakfast while your waiting. Its better to be where you have to be and wait, then not make it and be sitting in traffic.

Traffic on the 10 will be terrible Monday morning. Think about leaving an hour earlier than you think you need to... then leave an hour earlier than that.

keep a freeway map in your car & keep it tuned to 1070 AM, they give traffic updates on the 5's

I need to make a noon flight at ONT. So I should really be leaving at 6 too then huh. Or earlier?

I have an 8am flight back to DC from Long Beach. Is Coachella to LAX about the same as Coachella to Long Beach? We probably should go straight from the concert Sunday night, eh?

mapquest it and see...

All is well friends. I have decided that leaving Monday morning and potentially missing my flight is not cool so I will be bailing Sunday night, latenight, after rage to crash in LA then get up and go to the airport from there.
But thanks for the input..
