How had I never heard of this guy? Literally just started listening to his beats and wow...so mellow, so laid back.

Check this: http://alfalpha.bandcamp.com/album/he-pley-so-good

Anyone have any other recommendations for his music? This will be a nice way to start Saturday

Yeah early afternoon for sure. I'm thinking he'll be on a smaller stage though, maybe pure filth or do lab.

^He will be in the pure filth area because the guy running pure filth has already confirmed this information.

PS. AND all of his mixtapes are the business!

Yup, never heard of him before, but I like what he does. Mixing vinyl live and posting it up is so atavistic, I love it!

He's on friday, right? This would be great to start it all off with.

Chill-ass music. I hear some Thievery Corporation enmeshed with Nightmares on Wax. LA producers are seriously the best

I've been a fan since I was recommended him

Big Ups for Alf. Local Cat who embodies Hip Hop more than most the chumps out there today.

In fact, I dare say Alf has more Hip Hop in the outermost hair of his Vato Mustache than Lil B has in every fiber of every Shredded Wheat Biscuit every manufactured.
