how well do you think they will be searching the cars? will they be going through our bags?

It's the first year cars are allowed in the camping area. In past years they did go through bags. The official line is all cars will be thoroughly searched.

They're going all out. Local cops are doing car cavity searches and there's even an on-site gyno for guys who do the "hide everything IN my girlfriend" trick.

how do you know this?

I'm compiling a photo gallery of all lurkers who make threads addressing unnecessary and already answered questions. Security will receive, memorize, and refer to these photos when deciding how thoroughly to search cars. These people will be subjected to full body cavity searches upon entry.

But where do we post our secret hiding places that no one has ever thought of before?

It's the drug sniffing horse you really have to watch out for. Oh fuck man...I'm getting flashbacks from last year!!!

Indio don't fuck around. I hear they use store brand lube to save money so bring your own if you're not a slippery suzie. God, the things they do to keep drugs out of festivals...

Question- I'm walking to meet a friend in the campgrounds. I'm parking in the "companion car" overnight area and walking over with my bag. I'm assuming every parking lot has search at the entry, right?

threads like this and all the others give REASON TO TIGHTEN UP SECURITY.

use some common sense OP, do what you need to do, that goes for the rest of you as well. get your $h!t together and stop asking stupid @$$ questions!

Yep you're searched every time you enter the camping area or festival. It will be different this year with multiple camping areas and ins and outs but I can't imagine this part will change.
