Very interesting. (http://www.exclaim.ca/articles/generalarticlesynopsfullart.aspx?csid1=123&csid2=844&fid1=44430)

It wouldn't be the 808 most of us know and love, but this would be most cool. Hopefully this version with the later incarnation for 2011.

This would be faaaaaaantastic

I really, really hope so. Leftfield and potentially 808 State cruising around makes me a very happy camper.

What? What's not to know and love about Newbuild?

02-18-2010, 10:05 PM
Wow, that would be pretty awesome.

02-18-2010, 10:21 PM
Oh dear God thank you!!!!

What? What's not to know and love about Newbuild?

i should have phrased that better. i think a lot of the folk who got into 808 State did it from Utd. State 90 on. Suggesting there was no love before that was crummy on my part. Thanks for the check.

And just for good measure.

Also, this thread prompted me to finally listen to Black Secret Technology by A Guy Called Gerald and holy hell is this album incredible on first listen. And I'm not particularly disposed towards DnB.

Interesting. I saw them live 18 or 19 years ago.

Really like them and have wanted them to play Coachella for awhile.

They would have killed it at Vineyard Sound.

the year I went to my first Coachella ('08) I was thiiiiiiiiiis close to going to the Bangface Weekender and ended up choosing Coachella instead

your festival ticket also includes a fucking apartment that you stay in. it's ridiculous

How come this many Detroit artists don't play in their native country.

Cool news! Did they actually ever stop touring?

they did. though most people wouldn't even notice the difference between the original or actual lineup.

i hope gerald won't get too busy with this and will finally release those uncovered old dat tapes with aphex and luke vibert.
