Sick, I want to see them. They didn't list venues? Besides the Smell of course, which is in Downtown and thus really not worth it (unless Entrance was playing there too, which they did earlier this year and I missed it because of finals).

BRADDDD!!!!! That's the best news I've gotten in a long ass while. I've been dying to see them. The Smell would probably be perfect too. God, I'm already way too excited for that. I wonder where the LA show will be.

Just went to see Lightning Bolt last night. HOLY....SHIT. The opening bands were mostly okay. Marnie Stern played with a backing track instead of Zach Hill, so that was kinda lame. BARR is fucking terrible. My friend described them as a bad version of The Fall. Lightning Bolt...holy crap. Awesome. Shit was b-a-n-a-n-a-s. They setup on the floor as usual and they put one of those convenience store convex mirrors up on top of the HUGE amp stack so people could see them. Brian Chippendale's hands are ridiculously fast. People went nuts. I almost got kicked in the face. I didn't recognize most of the set, but they played Dracula Mountain. I haven't been to a show like that in at least 5 years. I just hope to god that the meatheads dont find out about lightning bolt...because then people will get injured. Unfortunately, the show got stopped abruptly because the fire marshall showed up. Understandable I guess...the floor felt like it could've caved in any second and there were definitely too many people in there. basically...it was awesome...go see them...and be prepared to defend yourself.
