great band. very impressive live show. have seen a few people mention them on this board before. caught them at a bar in madison, wi recently when they opened up for edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros.

if you like grizzly bear, you should like them.

if you hate grizzly bear, you should like them, as they are everything grizzly bear would be if they had more energy.

Sun Hands:

they also do a great cover of the Talking Heads - Warning Sign

I'm all for it. I had heard Airplanes before, never had a name to put it to though.

used to be called Cavil At Rest, great local band. Their live performances are what really got me.

Could see them playing COACHELLA in a year or so if they continue to progress the way they have...

oh my god are you serious???? I have their ep from like 5 years ago and I used to listen to it all the time. They used to play with my friends' band The Color Turning all the time. I'm pretty sure I've even helped them with merch before. How funny.

Here's the Cavil at Rest EP I have if anyone cares to compare. They were a totally different band back then.

Trying to pull them for a show in Santa Cruz. Gorilla Manor is a fun record.
