Tegan and Sara are playing a one-off in LA on 10/25, so I suspect that they'll either play early on both days or just on 10/24.

I really wish this was a different venue.
Shoreline manages to make shows worse when they are there.

He did do a comedy/music tour back in the mid-90's before he really took off. His set actually might be the only one I would have mild interest in seeing, and I am not even a fan of his anymore.

Oh, I know, the Chanukah song, Steve Polycronopolis and what not, I guess he's going to do that kind of stuff?

what a disappointment...would love to see Neil, Fleet Foxes, MoF, and possibly Chris Martin...

Everything since the year i went just seems subpar...

He changed his name to Yim Yames for his solo work...including Monsters of Folk...

This lineup...man. disappointing. Take off No Doubt, Rossdale and Sheryl Crow and I would go...

That's quite silly sounding...

It reminds me of Jib Jab...

Maybe he should have dropped the E and he could have been be Yim Yams.

I know i'm gonna get flamed because of this especially due to recent events...but ever since 06 (which was incredible) I have thought Kanye would be awesome at bridge school...a set similar to TRs' complete with the string section he used to tour with would be awesome IMO...

Well I guess I understand people's feelings about this, but not afraid to admit I'm THRILLED with this year's line-up. Who did people expect, Crystal Castles? Monsters of Folk are semi-acoustic in the first place, and a chance to see Conor Oberst, Jim James and M. Ward jam together is amazing! Fleet Foxes again are a band that are already half-acoustic, and a band I am eager to see again. No Doubt will be interesting, but Chris Martin is a nice get and I am also amped on Wolfmother and Gavin Rossdale. Adam Sandler's CDs were essentially listening in my adolescence, so getting to see it live is friggin great. Look at line-ups in years past and cite me what it is that is so sorely lacking from 2009? Sure I've seen The Who at Bridge, but I've also seen Jack Johnson there, and the ecclectic ups and downs are an essential aspect of Neil's line-ups.

Does everyone play acoustic at Bridge School or something? In that case how's Wolfmother going to work?

Think of the one act that you would kill to see, the act that you would sell your firstborn child to see live in concert. I mean really reach down deep and think pie-in-the-sky, anything-is-possible type act.

Now put them at Shoreline Amphitheater

Congratulations, it now eats dick and you wonder why you bothered.

(Just another post about how fucking terrible that venue is)

It really is not that bad...I live in SD so Coors is the local venue and it's awesome but the only thing that bugged me about Shoreline was the weather...fucking hot during the day and cold at night
