http://spf.fotolog.com/photo/15/45/88/disekxunder/1245808736732_f.jpgit's really, really good. It took me three listens to like it, but I now love it. Hard to appreciate Maxwell stuck in rush hour traffic on the west side.

it's really a beautiful album. One of the best contemporary soul album I've heard in ages. Certainly a different than his other stuff, more mature in a way. His band is spot on. Great grooves, saxophone and a little electronic thrown in. A real band playing real instruments. We are lucky to get him and Sade in the same year. It's a bit short, 9 tracks and the last is instrumental but the whole thing is so damn good it doesn't matter.

the documentary that comes with the special edition is really good too. only 25 minutes, but very enjoyable and well shot. reminds me of the Wilco doc a bit.

Maxwell would be a fantastic Coachella add. Sunset at the Outdoor.

and a classic if you are not familiar with him
