We are the Fall
Northern white crap
that talks back
We are not black. Tall.
No boxes for us.
Do not fuck us.
We are frigid stars.
We were spitting,
we were snapping
"Cop Out, Cop
as if from heaven.

Wherein we discuss one of the most prolific and consistent bands of all time-ah.

Corinna was looking for suggestions about which albums to get, and I pretty much recommended everything between Live At The Witch Trials and Bend Sinister. I'm not as familiar with their 90's/00's output, so recommend away if you are.

Discussing Marc Riley & The Creepers is also acceptable.

Blue Orchids should also be acceptable talk.

The two albums I know best are Grotesque (After the Gramme) and Hex Enduction Hour and both are highly recommended, with a slight preference for the former. The album referenced in the title is one I like but it has not yet grabbed me as much as the earlier two discs.

But I need more regardless. They're a wonderful band.

Pretty much all their official releases from the 1980's are worth owning, with The Wonderful and Frightening World of The Fall and This Nation's Saving Grace my personal favorites. From the 90's/00's, I'd recommend the following:

The Infotainment Scan
Middle Class Revolt
The Marshall Suite
The Unutterable
Fall Heads Roll

I love THE FALL one of my top bands! Reading Mark E. Smith interviews are the best. He's a funny motherfucker that says it like it is!

They have so many great records I can't decide on a favorite.
