View Full Version : Does someone want to write my history paper?
11-27-2006, 07:28 PM
I've been trying to work on it the past 3 weeks and I can't. I just want to be on break again. I have no work ethic. Fuck.

I would but I got a paper on the western genre, 2 papers for film history, a final film to cut, edit, and burn and an eight page sci-fi paper due, and a 30 page script to finish in the next 3 weeks or so...

Andrew what's the paper on?
12-01-2006, 11:35 AM
The economic history of the West from 1500-Russian Rev. It's not that hard but I have no focusing abilities.

the Russian Rev. didn't happen in the West
12-01-2006, 11:47 AM
I know that. But my prof recommended including it, seeing as it highlights Marxist thought and the overarching theme of class divide and unrest.

you'd have the rise of currency, the discovery of how trade increases wealth (obvious now, but not then), and the foundation of banks. then exploitation of the New World (Spain, Britain gained wealth), the rise of the landed gentry, land = private wealth (not royal wealth). Landed wealth led to pushes for democracy and hence the American Revolution. then technology gave the Industrial revolution and capital (including but not limited to land) was king. The rise of urbanization: The peasant class (rural) became the working class (urban). Marx was reaction to hording of capital and hence the Russian revolution.
OK that's done. What's next?

Uhm... I think I'd go back to school just so Tom could write my papers.
