Awww...you kids.

B.L...what the hell is up with your avitar?

Ron...where are those pics from?

Sooooo....my wife got laid off this week. Her company just shut down the whole site- 110 people. My business is somewhat portable. We're thinking of moving up to Portland, OR...anybody have any advice? She manages call centers. She already applied to Nike and Netflix, and a couple other places.

I guess it'll probably be Sasquatch in '09.

my cousin works for nike in portland. he loves it up there. i went to his wedding recently, and a lot of his fellow portland buddies were there and they seemed to really love it and were all interesting people. seems like a fun place to live.

She manages call centers.

She's one of those annoying telemarketers?

She's one of those annoying telemarketers?

No, like customer service, taking orders, that kind of stuff. You call them.

She works for Deluxe...they sell stuff for businesses. Like if you want your business name on a pen or polo shirt or frisbee, you call her company. Actually, don't call her company, because they are laying 110 people off, so screw 'em.

Belated happy birthday, Marc. Sorry to hear about your wife. Good luck staying afloat in this rough economic environment. Also, sorry you didn't enjoy Vegoose. :p

Happy belated birthday dude! Sucks to hear about your wife. Has she checked on Telus up here in Canada? Don't know if it's something you're interested in but they have a lot of things in Vancouver and Calgary. They are pretty good employers(depending on who you talk to and what department). I know a lot of people are pretty happy working with them. I worked for them twice.

Sorry for the late message...but Happy Birthday man...hope it was a good one.

Awww...the late ones mean more 'cause you have to make the effort.

Of course Yablo...two Gemini men, just huggin'...let's be natural.

Even though we've semi-committed to moving to Oregon, and British Columbia is just a little bit further, I think we're just to adverse to paperwork to actually leave the US. It's not that we don't want to denounce our homeland, it's just the red tape. Though I do love the B.C. wildlife.
