I would go to this just for The Raveonettes if they weren't playing at fucking 5.

06-07-2008, 11:38 AM
I'm going despite the fact that the actual Raveonettes singer isn't touring with them.

06-07-2008, 11:50 AM
I probably won't go.

06-07-2008, 12:50 PM
Kinky for free? Sounds good to me! Most of my friends live in Pasadena so we're all going for sure. What do the Ravonettes sound like? Is that 80's punk?

06-07-2008, 12:52 PM
Nevermind, wikipedia says they're more recent "noise pop" whatever the hell that is.

Nice, now I have at least two bands to look forward to. She sounds kind of like Courtney Love with a little less scratchy of a voice which isn't really a bad thing at all. Now behaving like Courtney Love, that's another story. She just sold her husband's ashes for dope.

06-07-2008, 02:24 PM
The Raveonettes, Autolux, and Kinky for free? I'm in.

06-07-2008, 02:38 PM
I missed Plasticines at Coachella, were they any good? Looks like good eye candy at the very least.

06-07-2008, 02:52 PM
Dengue Fever too, awesome.

Getting drunk at my friends place and walking to this for sure

06-07-2008, 03:14 PM
I'll probably go see nortec collective and the raveonettes
Autolux too

06-07-2008, 03:33 PM
wait, the girl won't be performing? so who is singing?

06-07-2008, 04:06 PM
I love free street festivals and the Raveonettes seal the deal.

06-07-2008, 04:47 PM
Dengue Fever too, awesome.

Getting drunk at my friends place and walking to this for sure

That's exactly what I'm doing, we probably know some of the same people in Pasadena. Most of my friends live on Sierra Bonita off of Colorado, across from PCC.

06-07-2008, 05:01 PM
The Raveonettes, Autolux, and Kinky for free? I'm in.

We shall finally meet.

06-07-2008, 05:17 PM
We shall finally meet.

Finally... "The Fro"

06-07-2008, 06:23 PM
The thing I like about Frohickey is that he really gives away his position with that hair. Makes it easy to avoid him.

06-07-2008, 06:24 PM
Yet even you weren't able to avoid moi.

06-07-2008, 06:38 PM
Because you came over to my campsite. I ran away from you like five times around the camping grounds.

06-07-2008, 07:46 PM
I wish I could have had video of you fleeing from me. That's comedy right there.

06-07-2008, 07:48 PM
haha thats funny
I saw you a couple times PT but i was too blown to ever go and say hi

06-07-2008, 07:51 PM
w/e. Don't worry about it.

The thing is, I dunno if I'll have the fro when this happens... Depends how my work situation changes in the next week or so.

06-07-2008, 08:01 PM
Well then we'll see each other in 2 weeks

06-07-2008, 08:30 PM
i'm in (pending transportation).

the Plastiscines --> Kinky stage looks like the Mojave '09 to me.

06-07-2008, 08:39 PM

06-14-2010, 06:28 AM
OK, you got me Tessa. What the hell is a Huck Finn Fest?

It's this...

The only reason I knew what it was is because it was written up in the Westways Magazine. The official magazine of AAA.

The only artist on the line up I know is the Oak Ridge Boys.
