View Full Version : nearby camping cheaper than Coachella?

Does it exist? Saw that adobe campsite, but it's ultimately as expensive as Coach camping passes.

I tried to camp in joshua tree last year, but it was kind of a bitch to get to (didn't have a good spot). Right now, the plan is to sleep in the car.

Any other ideas?

paying 55$ is too much for you?

It's $13.75 a night.

I guess if you jam a bunch of people into one site, you might find something cheaper.

Coachy camping tickets are pretty much being given away on Ebay at the moment. I've seen them go for $10 today. Sad state, it is.

well, there's a bunch of us going, so in total it's like $250. Still relatively cheap, I know, but we're really poor college students. Also, we're not staying thurs-mon (more like fri-sun, coming back to LA after the show sunday), so it's not as cheap per day as you suggest. If we take the mindset of trying to save $50 at every possible turn, I may end up saving a solid hundred by the end of the festival.

May look into those e-bay tickets, though...
