Yuri's Night Bay Area (http://ynba.org/2008/index.php)

I know, I know, another music event. Unlike the tired other festivals, this one looks pretty sweet. There will be music, art & science demonstrations, speakers (like Will Wright, the dude who created the Sims), etc. It is in the San Francisco area at Moffett Field. Oh yeah, pre sale tickets are $30. Check it out.

I went to last year's at Moffet Field. They had the place set up nicely, it was in a hangar and there were airplanes on the event's premises. I only went in the evening, for the music and it was lightly packed with people, it wass strange to see Federal Law enforcement wandering around a rave atmosphere, but they were cool. There was good production values to the event and this line up looks pretty good, so I might go again. Tycho has an amazing live show and he's a local boy too, I definitely recommend checking him out sometime.
