Anyone in the Phoenix area in Arizona:

Apparently The Fountain is playing again at Tempe Cinemas starting today.

I was wondering this too. Schoolio needs to start up his thread over here.

Now that The Last King of Scotland has reopened I may actually have to go see it. Forest Whitaker was to be my leading man, in my minds eye, for the screenplay I'm working on and now he is way too big. Perhaps when all is said and done he'll still work on some small projects. I'm glad he's finally gotten the recognition he deserves.

Pan's Labyrinth is awesome. We d/l'ed and watched it a couple weeks ago, but I really want to see it in the theatre. Very violent though, so I can't bring the kids. This is actually one movie whose poster and name made me want to see it without knowing anything else about it.

Pan's Labyrinth was amazingly amazing. Completely not what I expected (a sort of child's story or something like a M. Night Shyamalan piece). Some of the parts scared me because it was so violent.

I also recently saw Children of Men and Little Miss Sunshine, and I loved both of them.
