So are you not going to see Ministry?

I hope they don't conflict with Portishead, I'd hate to choose between PH and an awesome rendition of "Take Me Out"!

So are you not going to see Ministry?

I don't feel the need to keep my entire life's plans in my sig file. It wastes bandwidth.

It's a maybe. Always been a maybe- just put that there to piss someone off who was trash talking them. I wasn't planning on going to Coachella at all, so the decision to go three days pretty much ate my entertainment budget for the year.

As far as bands I've seen a bunch of times, The Cure is a bigger priority this year, because they are playing a small-ish theater here. They haven't played a place this small here since '89. And it's on my best friends birthday, and 2 days before my anniversary. So, as far as scraping up some extra funds, Cure will get them first.

I just saw Ministry in '06 in the same crappy venue. I wouldn't even be considering going if it wasn't their "last" tour. I still want to go, but it is low priority at this point.

And if Kidz Bop comes to Arizona...all bets are off. I might be selling my Coachella tix.

Don't they have a Kids stage at Lollapalooza?

I've got more respect for Doodlebops, or even fucking Barney than this Kidz Bop crap. Seriously, what is the point of these albums? Just get your kid those "NOW" CDs.

I guess I can see the point of the tour though...you don't want to take your 8 year old to see Christina Agulara strip onstage, but she can still see some cleancut teen sing her fav songs. What was that magazine Lisa Simpson used to read? "Nonthreatening Teen Boys Monthly"?

AAAAAND...I did own a copy of Chipmunk Rock in 4th grade, so...

Yeah Lolla has a kids stage, it's more suited to that and I could even see them playing.

I think last year the Sippy Cups played on the kids stage which is kind of similar to the Wiggles.

The big scam is Hannah Montana. There is a woman in my office wants to take her daughter and her daughter is crying to go but the tickets are $3000 on Ebay. It's terrible.

She ended up taking her daughter to the Doodlebops which was not only expensive but her daughter wanted snacks and a shirt and souvenoirs. They charge $25 bucks for one of those spinning lights that you can get at any store for $5 bucks but since the kids are there they want it.

It's all a scam..

I took my kids to see The White Stripes. They enjoyed it (and fell asleep in their seats).

I remember seeing that. Awesome name...I'm disappointed it's a kids band.
