What's the best way to go about this? I know that the public Coachella parking lot is cleared each night, so where can I park without being towed/arrested? Any other helpful hints would be much appreciated as well.

I don't know if this is possible.. but you might try a truck stop?
make sure you buy a pop or something so that you can say that you're a customer

last year my friends and I slept in two cars in one of the smaller grassy parking lots, at night after everyone left we moved and parked against the fence in the front of the parking lot cause every night a tow truck would come and move the cars left in the middle of the field to the side, it was cool though, several other groups were doin the same thing and we didnt have any security problems

just pick up some Yucca Valley meth and that way you don't have to worry about sleeping in the car.... cos' if you try sleeping in that hot car you will feel as if you were tweaking anyway.

you'll probably sleep in your car trying to get out of traffic after each day
