I have noticed a disturbing trend lately in that you seem to be posting right after me. Alll the time. I am trying to accomplish something here by being the last person to post in every category. And you are really throwing a wrench in that. We need to talk about this unspoken competition that has been brewing for the last week. Can you take a break for the afternoon and let me have my moment in the sun?

Hahaha oh now that Justice announced another L.A. date and confirmed Detour, no way.

Have you gone to coachella, fickle?

Wheres the beef?

Dam you fickle.

And sexecutioner if you want to talk about music then take it to the "artists" section. The lounge is where the bullshit is. I thought everyone knew that.

2004 was pretty chill though I caught like 4 bands since I only went to the day which Interpol played. Last year only the day Daft played and this year all 3 with my girlfriend.

My GF is 18 and my parents are in LOVE with her and since she drives and isn't messing her life up she's cool to them.

Her parent's were okay with it and she just spent the nights at my house.

Wheres the beef?
08-03-2007, 02:07 PM
You should camp it this year and you could get some shaggin on while away from your parents

You're right it was 2003 but I remember it being the second day.

You missed THE MARS VOLTA. What a shame..........

ficklecycle
08-03-2007, 02:33 PM
I've seen them twice though.

Once at the Weenie Roast like 3 or 2 years back and when they opened for SOAD. I only went for the Volta though.

Wheres the beef?
08-03-2007, 02:38 PM
I've seen them three times when they opened for A Perfect Circle and once at a super secret show in SF where there was no security and I was basically standing 2 feet from the band with nothing but a piece of tape on the floor seperating me from the band. IT. WAS. AWESOME. Needless to say I was impressed.

suprefan

Still though this is in 2003 when not a lot of people had a clue. The performance on the Coachella DVD is one of my faves. I was there at Weenie in 2005, I left halfway since it was just a jam and I wish they couldve just done some songs.

The Weenie show was EPIC no doubt. I was pretty close up and had an AWESOME view. I remember knowing about them in 03 though since I had first heard of them like at the end of 2002.

Yeah, one of the few things why not going to earlier coachellas haunts me. At The Drive In in 99 and Mars Volta in the Mojave in 2002.

Psh. Not really. Wait till she turns 21 and hes only 20 or whatever. Shes gonna leave him. Not to be a downer dude. But theres something about dating someone who is 21 and you arent. It sucks. I had to live with it for three months and I wouldnt wish it on anyone.

When she turns 21, she won't change much though. She started to relax a lot more when she hit 18. She started wanting to stay in more or just go to a movie and have a cup of coffee. & she's disgusted by liquor so there wouldn't be a big diff.

Actually I thought they sucked big time in 2003. Much much better in 2002 even though it was in one of the tents. Just too much noodling and jumping around for me to get into...but it could have been because they played really early in the afternoon and it was very FUCKING hot.

I married my husband when he was 19 years old (I'm much older). We don't drink, so it really wasn't an issue.

Seriously man, I don't have the grudge against you that crazzz does but.......

you need to tone down the usage of the word "EPIC" and/or "epic". It is really taking away from the impact of the word. Not everything is epic. Please don't turn into an AirGuitarVet where the only thing you post is "epic" the same way he/she only and always posts "best thread ever". Please please please! For all of us and for the word epic....tone it down.

I didn't know that! How much older? And how did you meet? Nevermind if it's too personal, but I always like hearing stories with happy endings.
