Are RATM back together back together or is this a one-time performance? I've read articles saying that this is a one-time performance, but KROQ said that there has been no word from anyone that this is just a one time show.

I think Audioslave kept everyone fine, I dont know about Zach though.. And I would want just the one performance personally speaking. Although I think they will do a couple of warm up club shows to get the rust off.

I am getting word around the campfire saying that this is just a one time deal.

Didn't Zach have so sort of solo album he was supposed to release (then again, after hearing that song off the F911 soundtrack, maybe no solo album is better than a solo album)?

This better be permanent, I want a leftist rap-metal group of fifty year olds to one day exist. Or at least RATM could reunite in 2020.

I heard Zach has been singing with some mariachi band as of recent, though.

I think that both sides (Zach & Audioslave) aren't doing so hot. They all need money. I think they will do one last quasi tour.

I have serious trouble believing that ANY of them are hurting for money. They sold millions and millions of records.........have no drug problems......arent "ballin outta control". Audioslave has done just fine sales wise. This isnt about money for them.

Anyone ever think that maybe....just MAYBE they miss rocking the fuck out in the fashon that they used to? Or maybe they feel like they could *possibly* do some more work if it feels as good as it used to? I mean its been long enough to where bygones have to be bygones, and they have forgotten about what even made them salty in the first place. Liken it to giving your relationship with an old flame one last shot to see if anything is still there.......

audioslave did very well. i think they even won a grammy.
i heard zach did tons of new tracks and that the label wouldnt put it out because it simply isnt good.

I also find it hard to believe they are doing it for the money. If they wanted money theyd put out a best of CD or a best of DVD. hell maybe even some more live stuff or bsides/ rarities. Itd take a helluva lot less effort and time and the money would be pretty similar. I find it hard to believe that you all care so much anyway. Isnt it enough for them to just be playing again!?!

Dude they get residuals from airplay and probably publishing. They are all doing ok.

Didn't Morello say the country needed Rage back together to fight the Bush administration (by the time that administration is finished)? He seems to be hinting towards something more than Coachella.

... But I hope this is a one time thing.

Has there ever been a TRUE one-off reunion for Coachella?

02-04-2007, 12:08 AM
Jane's Addiction?

02-04-2007, 12:41 AM
Siouxsie And The Banshees was. Janes Addiction played lots of shows after Coachella.

Trust me, Rage is back for at least this year. However, what ever happened to Zack's solo album? I heard he was working on it years ago and it never surfaced, just like the "new" GUns and Roses album has never surfaced either.

I trust you Ken, I trust you.

To answer the question... no.

It's not a one time thing.
