It's comparable to LSD like a tomato is comparable to a grape. Both are fruits, both have a thin membrane as a skin, both have seeds inside. Yet they taste wholly different.

LSD, in my experience, has a certain geometric structure to it. Lots of fractals and a sort of prismatic head trip. The suspension of disbelief is similar to, say, mushrooms where you might see actual hallucinations. Faces in the carpet, water flowing down the wall, etc.

2C-I on the other hand has much less of a head trip. Even at higher doses. The visuals are mainly distortions: swirling patterns, colors, breathing, etc. Similar to LSD (and most other psychedelics, though even more so) music sounds amazing on 2C-I.

In terms of body high both LSD and 2C-I are fairly pleasant. For me, LSD is like being transformed into a soap bubble.. you basically float along not really paying any attention to your body. 2C-I is somewhat similar, except you get a pleasant body buzz common to phenethylamines (mescaline, 2cb, mdma, etc). There can be mild GI discomfort which varies from person to person and depends also on your recent diet. For contrast, both LSD and 2C-I are way different than the heavy body load associated with a mushroom trip.

I consider 2C-I to be a "party" psychedelic. It's fun, fairly easy to handle yourself on, music sounds incredible and generally your body feels great. And unlike some of the other shulgin 2C's, there is a wider margin for a "safe" dose as well as more "history" of safe use by many people.

thanks a ton. any suggestions on my "diet" prior to trying? Also, what kind of doses would you recommend (i have 120mg)? I'm going to be chilling with two other friends, we are all comfortable tripping with each other and have done LSD several times before.

We used to order 2CT2 through RAC research laboratories. It came by the gram for $175 which made 40 to 45 doseage units. Very weird physical properites of the powder. You could get it to stick together & roll up into a ball inside the capsule by rocking it back & forth. Idiots started snorting the shit & ending up in the E.R. thats when the Feds got involved & shut the sites down. 2CT2 was billed as a candyflip (Roll & acid) in one. When you take it you feel the onslaught of a roll & then it opens up into this mindfuck of a hallucinongenic journey. Wild wild shit. I've done it 4 times & can't say I want to do it again. The hallucinations were intolerable & scary to me at times.

2C-I dosage.

Personally, I've always preferred 20-25mg doses. That will give you quite a ride though; if you're not comfortable with psychedelics I'd recommend a lower initial dose. As for diet, I try not to eat within at least 6 hours of dosing anything. If I do need to eat it's sparingly and I stick to simple foods. This helps your body absorb and process the drug more efficiently and quickly. It also decreases stomach discomfort.

You might also want to take a couple imodium, 2C-I can have a similar effect as mdma in that department, though usually to a lesser degree. If you have some ginger pills that can help settle your stomach if it gets upset.

One other thing; while 2C-I does have a bigger margin of error for dosage, you really should be using a milligram scale. Eye-balling it is not recommended. In the absence of a scale, assuming you know your starting amount is accurate, you can dilute it in alcohol (vodka is fine) and then divide the alcohol up with a measuring cup/spoon. You'll wantto have the alcohol at room temperature (ie not from the freezer) for the 2ci to dilute fully.

2CT2 is not one I would recommend to anybody. Also, snorting anything that's in a crystalline form is gonna hurt like a son of a bitch.

He talks about how he reached such a euphoric state on one of his drugs that he wouldn't do it again . He wouldn't say which one it was but I bet anything it was 2CT2.
