Make a Coachella Lineup In Retrospective - COMPETITION!

Inspired by Coachella message board user Queenie Cupcakes' idea, and even more so by user menikmati's poster submissions from this thread. We are turning this into an actual official competition that will run through the end of Feb (at the latest).

This info maybe adjusted moving forward <---- many people missed that

Each person whose poster was selected as a winner for a particular year will get ONE festival pass. (If you already have a festival pass we will provide ONE VIP upgrade).

also, does billing matter? because i find it hard to believe, in '77 that the Jackson5 Aerosmith or Chicago would be billed below Santana, Frank Zappa or Kraftwerk..

The festival used to be 2 days so it's an assumption that any pre-2007 Coachella festival, even ones that mess with the fabric of reality like these, would only be two days as well.

Here is a landscape/mountain image to use on the bottom of your posters (it's 600px wide - so therefore your posters would be 600px wide, unless you make it smaller)...I cut/cropped it out of a bigger background image I had on file....it's in .png format and has a transparent background, so it will right into your posters and over your backgrounds. If you prefer to want to cut out the landscape yourself in a higher res, then ask and maybe I'll post the bigger background image if people want it.

As for the font, as Dani said, it's called Eurostile (there are three variations within the one I use - condensed for the small lettering (the, of, in the tent, etc), bold condensed (for band names), and Bold Extended 2). It's not free...more info can be found here

Lay off the hate and vulgarities. I think his/her point was made well. The festival didn't become three days till 2007. I thought the point made sense. But it's good that admins clarified and said it can be 1-3 days.
