well i think if someone has over 1,000 posts and hears it directly from a band not oh my source says so and so is playing I think its fine. People just shouldn't be jackasses and lie. I know we've gotten some heads up by people on the board about whose playing in previous years so let's just keep it honest. But your point is valid and that's why i'll put those under rumored. A legitimate source like a publication or directly from the artist (email, myspace, website, twitter) will go into the confirmed section.

i know people with under a 100 posts on this board that are actual sources or are tight with real sources, while i know dozens of people with over 1000 posts on this board who are liars and/or full of shit
