Yeah it was pretty sweet. Dani runs the lost and found at Coachella so I had to wait for them to leave after the show, usually at 3 am. Then I had to head over with them in the morning at like 8 am. I would go sleep in the VIP area.

the hotel we normally stay at is in palm desert and it 1200 bucks for four days...

TCHY,I would imagine their resort condos would be sold out, but I was talking about privately owned places. I live right near the entrance acrossed from the hotel there, and there are atleast 4 vacant condos right now. 2 of them have been empty all summer, so someone has to be losing money, or has so much they don't care. I think 1 of those available wants $800 per month. I'll get some phone numbers for you. It couldn't hurt to check it out, right?

Brokendoll, that's a really nice offer. I'd imagine the only stumbling block would just be if people don't want to go to the trouble of administering a rental, but how foolish that would be.

TCHY, I'd advise doing whatever the wife wants. Taking a resistant person camping at Coachella sounds like a recipe for disaster. I stayed at a condo last year and LOVED it. It's awesome to have access to a kitchen and a living room and stuff, and condos can often work out much cheaper than hotels and have the added bonus of being closer to the polo fields. I've had good luck with finding rentals on vrbo.com

sorry guys! I ended up finding a cheaper lodging option with a hotel in Palm Desert. It was about the same as the condo Jeff mentioned only no need for a cleaning deposit (which you don't get back) and it included breakfast.
