Default First Festival?
Hi! I'm seventeen and have never been to a music festival, but I'm hoping to make Coachella 2010 my first.

I have no idea what to expect. I have a few general questions. What is the venue like, and would you recommend camping? How early do you have to be there to get a good spot in the crowd? Is the crowd rough? Do I have anything to worry about?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

You can only camp if you will be 18 by Coachella. If you want a good spot in the crowd its best to watch the band playing right before, but usually you can work your way up if you just go like 10 minutes early depending on who it is. The crowd is usually not too rough, but again it depends who is playing. And don't worry about anything, but I recommend never wearing jeans and bringing lots of sunscreen, you will have the time of your life!

Thanks! No, I won't be 18 by Coachella. I didn't think of that. Scratch camping, I guess.

And, I can't wait to use the outhouses.

plus with all the pedophile encounters that were recorded last year, it may be a good idea to wait a while
