I have LCD, the Rapture Justice, Mstrkrft, Kraftwerk, kind of all the EDM that has been at Coachella. I would really like some DJs.

One time Jack told me to buy Deadringer by RJD2. You should also do this. Immediately. Purchase it. From a record store. And you will not regret it even a little bit.

I don't know if I would qualify that as EDM, but you said you really wanted some DJs, and he's just about as good as they get.

you need to be more specific. asking for EDM recommendations is like asking for rock music recommendations.

There have been all kinds of EDM at coachella from IDM to drum&bass to electroclash to trip hop to breakbeat to house to just plain shit. It's also tough making recommendations for EDM "albums" because the EDM isn't really album based. The best stuff is found on singles

I've venture a couple recommendations though.

If you're into Justice and MSTRKRFT then you need to pick up anything by Sebastian.

As far as whole ablums go here's a few.

    Breaks:
    Elite Force - Modern Primitive
    Freestylers - Raw As Fuck
    Ils - Soul Trader
evil nine - you can be special too
    rennie pilgrem - pilgremege
    Uberzone - Faith In Future
    Simply Jeff - Funk-Da-Fried
    Bassnectar - Mesmerizing The Ultra
    Breakbeat Buddha - Mind Bombing
    Propellerheads- decksdrumsandrockandroll

    IDM:
    Modeselektor - Hello Mom
    Funkstorung - Disconnected
Edit - Crying Over Pros For No Reason
Tom Burbank - Famous First Words
    Multiplex - Angles
    Ochre - Midsummer Nice Dream
    Arovane - Lilies
    Plaid - Rest Proof Clockwork
    Tim Exile - Pro Agonist
    Tipper - Tip Hop
digitonal - 23 things fall apart
    dimlite - runbox weathers

    psy-trance:
Texas ****** - From Israel With Love
    Fatali - Faith

    trip hoppish:
    Thunderball - Scorpio Rising
Thievery Corporation - Richest Man In Babylon
Bent - Everlasting Blink / Programmed to Love
    AIM - Cold Water Music

Deadringer's a must have for anyone with ears, but that's hip hop (and don't bother buying RJD2's latest albums yet)

Going off of what you know you like, you should get Simian Mobile Disco.

HaHa I guess its because of Tiesto? My friend told me to check him out at coachella and I went to see the Raputre instead so I needed to see what I was missing.

Hi this message is from your local RIAA lawyer. Soulseek is for idiots. DC++ and torrents are where to download your music. Please cease and desist downloading from soulseek to avoid further legal action.

This guide could help you to be more specific about what kind of electronic music you want

    http://www.di.fm/edmguide/#

It may be not so accurate but it does the job

You want EDM(electronic DANCE music) in regards to DJ's get it? You arent missing anything with Tiesto if you think thats going to pass for "good" when it comes to your scope of taste if thats what a good dj is to you. Jack isnt helping you anymore cause you seemed to be on the level then just kinda screwed things up.

breakbeats and electroclash are sub genres, too hard to figure out?

I agree these guys are among the tops in Breaks, but I tried to keep the recommendations to Albums instead of singles. I think Lee's the only one to have a full album of originals among them.

I'm amped to see Lee Coombs and Bassbin Twins tonight.

IDM does NOT mean downtempo. IDM is all over the tempo map. acts like Squarepusher, Autechre, Aphex Twin, uZiq, etc. are icons of IDM and are anything but downtempo.
