    basically. i easily got up as close as i wanted to.

    and, for the record, at coachella this year, i asked some girl if i could borrow her phone to text my friend (mine wasn't working) and she said "maybe they can help you at the retard station."

    i've had people offer me water and food at broo.

    I'm soooo pumped for Bonnaroo..
    And I don't know why people always compare the two.. I think they're completely different..
    .. you guys must be pretty biased because I absolutely love both..

    Bonnaroo lineup just did'nt excite me at all. (Nahhh ... fuck The Police and those smelly hippies ... maybe next year, seriously!) It's not worth the 10 hours drive etc.

    ACL = Coachella > Lollapalooza = Pitchfork > blah blah ...> Bonnaroo

    I meant the lineup ^ ... I imagine that Bonnaroo = Woodstock! I want to experience Bonnaroo too ... oh well, again maybe next year ... I want a much better lineup than they came up this year!

    I'm going to London instead (still finalizing it, keeping my fingers crossed). Seeing Muse @ Wembley Stadium + possibly 1 day at O2 Wireless in Hyde Park or a gig at London (?) + ... !

    I meant the lineup ^ ... festival experience in Bonnaroo might be like the tamer version of Woodstock! I want to experience Bonnaroo too .. maybe next year!

    let me count the ways:
    *bands always stay on schedule, so you can plan your day by the minute
    *much better vibe -- no L.A. asswipes or celebs. people are so friendly and considerate to one another, it's jarring to re-enter "the real world" afterward.
    *you can bring food and drinks (even beer) into the venue
    *shows go until 3 a.m. or later
    *free water!!!
    *very clean bathrooms
    *free phone calls and internet (some years, in sponsor tents)

    best weekends of my life!
    Sorry but as a B-roo Vet I'd have to say the bathrooms are gross, the water is free but smells as bad as the hippies, you do get searched for food and beer on your way into the concert grounds and there is no reception..... Aside from that, the roo is the best festival by far. The bands are always great and on time for the most part. People are really friendly and considerate in the campgrounds, its a great barter system out there, for example trading magic brownies for a chicken kebab always starts off a good day.
