Sitting here watching House on Haunted Hill (remake) and I was wondering what all of you would name as your favorite shitty horror film.

My pick: House on Haunted Hill
Reason: Chris Kattan and the following quote:

"Goddamn it, you give me my goddamn check right now! I want it....so you give it....now!....I'm serious."

the only thing that could make this better would be a nice buzz.

2. The stop-motion scene where the evil twin throws the drawer.

I also like "Zombie Beach Party", but I don't think that's bad enough to be a Troma release.

Anyone ever see The Gate? Truly god awful yet highly watchable. When that nerd dude falls down that pit and those one eyed mini-monsters start grabbing for him... entertainment at its finest.

And although it was more Goonies ripoff than horror movie, The Monster Squad was truly a masterpiece in awfulness.

I just sat through "Prey" last night. Its a pretty recent movie but it has to be up there on some of the worst horror movies ever made.

I saw Shopgirl a week ago, and although it's not a horror movie, by the time I was done watching it, by god I WANTED it to be horror so all the characters could get chainsawed out of existence. What a trainwreck that movie was.

One of peter jackson's early films "Bad Taste" is a personal favorite. Aliens representing a intergalactic fast food consortium descend on new zealand to harvest human beings. The ending to this film is quite possibly my favorite conclusion to any movie.

I assume you're talking about the remake, because I in fact really enjoyed the original House on Haunted Hill, fucking Vincent Price, yeah, and no it wasn't pretty good, it starred Taye Diggs for chrissakes. Let me rephrase that, it was actually pretty good, overall, decent soundtrack and pretty scary, but you have to admit the majority of the acting was shit, an the ending was such a complete load. The Haunting, hahaha!!
