I'm actually loving the "in the tomb" idea...I can't even begin to imagine how fucking epic and awesome that would be. By that thought alone, this festival could go deep, or at least keep me voting for it.

I voted against my favorite band playing at Waikiki Festival just because it looks like Muertos Festival actually had more legitimate thought/creativity put in it. Waikiki Fest is just something that wants to win at all costs, and that includes having a line-up with 5 headliners a day.

Yes for sure. And I saw your other post saying you kind of skimmed due to circumstance, of course its understandable and next year I am looking forward to it being more "limited" than this one since it loked more like a free for all.

I have to agree with Erik, Waikiki did not break any rules (probably accidentally but not deliberately). beavis err supre, should've complained at the previous match-up.

What I'm seeing are malicious voting and posting (this one included) going on (not in the lineups so far, mine included - my festival is really my dream festival not created to please the majority here :

In the other match-up, I did'nt vote vs. Cityscape because of the inclusion of King of Flop or Timberlake. I like them - but Pinback? I would rather do it all over again (i.e, attend Coachella '07 Part II than see Pinback in any festival lineup). It's like that the creator is paying homage to Coachella '07 (US or possibly World's best festival for 2007). Bravo, I did'nt think of that!

I think this one had more of an obvious tone to it with its line up than the previous match up and peopel are going to start looking at it more closely and seeing any faults I guess. I also made a festival with bands I LIKE and not looking for an advantage, stacking it just to make it look like it would sell out in 30 seconds.

Yeah and its not like anyone(except for Erik) that knows what poster is mine anyway, so whenever mine goes the line ups determine who will win not the creator. If everyone knew who made what I would get like last place easy despite presenting a great line up.

See this comes into play a lot too, which makes me wanna just vote for Muertos and all that. That should be a factor since how the hell would these bands agree to perform around each other knowing they could be on top of the bill themselves instead of second tier. Sting would never relent to Mick Jagger. I think day 1 has possibilites of guest apperances, like David Bowie woudl totally wanna bring out Elvis or Michael Stipe I would imagine.
