    There was a great piece on NPR yesterday about the photographer Herman Leonard (below). He was talking about how he had to bathe his film in mercury before he went into the smoky clubs, so it would be sensitive enough to pick up the image with the low light level. Photographers like Leibovitz today with all their gadgets have it easy, in comparison.

    I received Leibovitz' American Music as a gift last year. It's awesome. The Cash family and Iggy pics are both in that book.
