New UNKLE album in July, and NA gets a full band tour in the Fall!! The guests look great as always, as well. This news pleases me.

Well the funny thing is, the other original producer, along with Lavelle, was Tim Goldsworthy. The reason he left the UNKLE project was because he wanted more of a house music sound and Lavelle wanted the hiphop sound, bringing in the Scratch Pervertz and Dj Shadow.

Since Shadow left though, the UNKLE sound has become probably what Goldsworthy wanted in the beginning.

It's a lot less of the dark hiphop we were accustomed to hearing from Shadow, and more of the breaks/house we hear from Hybrid and Way Out West.

I still enjoy it, it's just a different sound.

Although it is very different and inferior to Psyence Fiction, Never Never Land is an outstanding album. Definitely worthy of being owned and revered.

I think we might all realize, as the Coachella bandwagoners slowly fade into the desert night on this message board, there's much more substance in a fober post than we thought, when the situation calls for it.

Never Never Land in my opinion isn't that much less of an album than Psyence Fiction. And as much as UNKLE aren't as good without DJ Shadow, his work isn't as good now as earlier.

Maybe they should start working together again...
