I met Jeff briefly last year and we've talked quite a bit on IM in the past. Nevertheless, his presence on the board alone was something I enjoyed and so honestly am hoping for the best for him because I imagine he'd be a pretty good guy if he ever cleaned up.

Well you can call this lame or cool, with this board who knows lol …. We were on the vegoose board after the show last year, and there was a thread about this carload of people who were on their way to vegoose …. Well they had a car crash, and everyone was ok cept this one gal that got thrown from the car …. No health insurance, in the hospital probably for months minimum, etc … so they decided they would have a charity concert (san diego) and raise some money to help her …. At vegoose I bid for these charity seats for trey anatasio (no comment here on artists) and won … part of the package was a signed poster from trey …. End of story, I sent the poster to the charity show auction, and my entry got 2nd place for most money bid …I never knew this person and will never know this person except on a message board … So if PF or anyone finds out vinyl is in the same situation, who knows what we could do ….. cr******

i don't know him very well, but he's stuck in indio, seemingly by himself, in a hospital. that sucks.

i don't think it takes being "seriously worked up" to send someone a card. its just a nice gesture.
