I'm in the process of creating a quality Coachella 2007 dvd(s) for my 13 person camping group. Everyone in my group likes this idea. Please contribute whatever high quality videos you can to this thread. I signed up for a free month trial of the business plus account at www.yousendit.com so download to your heart's content (I max out at 200gb).

I took these videos on a sony dsc-w5. All videos are recorded at MPEG Movie: 640x480 VX Fine w/audio at 30fps, except the last 2 rage videos at 25fps 640x480 standard.

I put all of my videos on youtube. However, youtube has a 100mb, 10 minute uploading policy, so the video quality suffers.

Google Video allows for videos over 100mb if you get their uploader and searches youtube when looking for videos. Google video all the way. I am gonna download rebellion, because I missed that to catch Girl Talk.

All of these are about 300 mb files I uploaded, but i reduced quality on the next days to get more videos. Hopefully I can get the Cut chemist Video Scratch session up tonight. But I will be watching Mayweather vs. De La Hoya.

Thanks very much for sharing. I got my Cannon ZR600 in on Sunday - Hey did you sneak yours in or did they let you bring it in? Any way, I got about 36 min of footage total, cuz my battery life sucks. I got a Tapes and Tapes song, an explosions in the sky song, a willy nelson song where I light a joint in front of the camera with willy in the background, a whole placebo song and two part songs, most or all of a Mika song, I think... Some of the Do lab vaudvile show... some random walking around, and unfortunately, the only the frist 30 seconds of Rage's frist song Testify, which is when my battery died. Oh, and a tiny bit of the last Paul Van Dyk song. Uh... and some boring footage of tents at the camp site. Next year I will come much better prepared for videography. Just wish I could sneak my home made steadycam in...

I'm still storting through it all, but I'll probably upload it some where over the next few weeks. I saw somebody reccomend google video, and you like you send it... what about video bucket? Anyone?

Anyway, I shot in wide screen fine res 640 x 480. I just copied the footage into final cut, so I'll start chopping it up pretty soon. I also pulled some of your footage, thank you! Because I too am creating a DVD.

Your Arcade Fire video is fantastic!! Thanx...

For Real! Your videos - aside from my own (as far as video quality not fine cinematography) - are the best. Youtube is fucking crap! The video quality sucks. The other problem I'm running into is that I shot in widescreen and even the quality videos I can find are in 4:3... Any body know of any other good sources of video? I also have a lot of still shots I'm going to work in - (to add to my own, the fan pics is a gold mine!) anybody know where I can just get audio cuts to have the slide show and other non-band related footage play to?

Oh, that's the other thing, anybody have, or know where to find video shots of festival stuff, not just band bootlegs, but the crowds, the art... I tried to shoot a variety and did a decent job, but only got 36 min total footage. That includes bands and festival stuff.

And I'm out of hard drive space for editing. So I ordered a 1 terabyte hard drive. That outta do it. But it's on back order till the 16th.

Oh, P.S. I think the arcade fire video is from 2005 ?

All videos are from this year. I caught the end of Arcade Fire in 2005 and they were great, but I had a shitty camera back then.

These videos will be up for a week and half more before the link expires.
