How many times did you eat at In-N-Out??

On the trip I ate there 5 times! 1 on the way there in Chandler, AZ, 1 on the way back again in Chandler and 3 times in Indio, 1 for breakfast Friday, breakfast on Saturday and dinner on Sunday! Animal style!! I'm so glad they opened early and closed late to accomodate us!

None, I live here so it wasnt mandatory. You wonder how it woudl be if Coachella had an In-N-Out truck in the food court, oh the killing they would make.

from seattle. ate their once. that was plenty. We have a drive-in called Dick's up here that tops In-and-Out if you ask me. You also don't have to wait 10 minutes for a fucking burger.

Maybe you dont have to wait so long because its not slam packed with people who wanna eat there? I think thats a hint of it being good. And yeah there is a thread on burger places vs in-n-out you should add that place on the "competitors".

The thing is, I worked at Dick's in high school. And we would serve probably twice as many customers in an hour during the busy times (post bars closing, lunch/dinner) than there was at the In-and-Out I was at, and no one waits more than a minute or two. I remember one time where the window I was at served 98 customers in one hour (meaning 98 people ordered, paid, and got their food).

The way it's done is there are four types of burgers, and you can't make any special orders. When I worked there, on occasion someone would be pissed off by this (but for the most part people are happy). So you get your shit right away, and it's always hot (fries/burgers everything are guaranteed to be less than 5 minutes old). Hand dipped shakes too. I'll track down that thread and add it.

So if you are ever up in Seattle. There are 5 of them and they are open till 2AM.

I ate at Denny's one day (everyone in there was from Coachella, a group of us talked about how the Denny's bathrooms>Coachella outhouses in the bathroom) and IHOP the next day. Otherwise I ate on-site.

Just once while picking up camping supplies in my hometown of Visalia (though technically we stopped at the one in Bako...) I tried adding the chile peppers to my animal style double double no lettuce or tomato. Good flavor boost provided...

how did you guys get to Coachella? did you go down the 5 through bakersfield and then the 58? or through LA to the 10? cuz on the way back on friday there was a white car next to us the whole way on the 58 and it had a Giants license plate frame and it was obvious they went to coachella.

would've been visalia license plates, blue car.

we went from 99 to the 5 to 90-something to go to the trashy part of anaheim to meet our friend then 60 something to the 10.

We avoided downtown Indio as much as possible. Ate at the Carl's Jr once (no wait - I guess people were afraid to stray too far from Monroe), but the rest of our offsite dining was at the IHOP in La Quinta. Never a long wait (coz we were awake at the campsite really f**king early for some reason) and the country fried steak breffus was killer.
