best day of Coachella 07

Fri for me too was the best overall day, the whole day just had a good vibe to it plus I closed it out by watching Gogol Bordello which was the highlight of the weekend for me.

Sat & Sun were more hectic for me but still had fun all days. Great year for Coachella!

the heat got to me on friday. just wasn't used to it and it got me. but it was still a blast. just not early on.

saturday was nuts. lost my phone and my friends but through a weird whacky chain of events we all found one another. i got my phone back as well. Some aussie dude had it. he gave it back but gave me a good ribbing about some of the photos on my cell phone. and for good reason. I can't believe I have a fisting picture on there for christ sakes. so once i got my phone and friends it was a blast. saturday was adventure day. a bit crazy but all fun. and the dance tent was going off that night.

sunday was my favorite day. it felt almost cool compared to fri and sat. lines went pretty fast, rodrigo y gabriella blew me away, danced with a hippie, smoked a j with willie nelson and the night was already upon us. air sucked ass, happy mondays were interesting just because shaun ryder looked bored out of his fucking mind. but i was with a friend and rage blew it away. Sunday had to be my fav.

hmm, i voted sat, but the more i think about it, i think i had more fun on friday, mostly because there were more acts that surprised the hell out of me. ones i thought would be good, but ended up being GREAT. like J&MC, peeping tom, interpol, faithless, and most of all: gogol bordello!

Saturday, by virtue of having Arcade Fire, Decemberists, and the opportunity to discuss Thomas Pynchon with James Murphy, was a special day. Friday was a lot of fun too, Sunday not so much aside for the two hours set aside for Explosions in the Sky and The Roots.

All three were amazing, and my favorite set was on Friday (Bjork), while Sunday had two that blew me away (Soulwax and Konono No.1) but Saturday was so much fun. Loved LCD and Cornelius was a great surprise.

Sunday because of Rage, Manu Chao and a fantastic set from Willie..."Will The Circle Be Unbroken" and "Whisky River" were just priceless.

Sunday was best for me (we didnt go Saturday). Amos Lee and Damien Rice were amazing! We heard Rage's set as we were leaving and they sounded awesome-we were escpecially happy to get out before the crowds.

Every day was a great day, but I'd have to pick Sunday. It was cooler, we dealt with no traffic getting in or out, Rodrigo Y Gabriela were so much fun, by 8 pm the tent side of the fields was less crowded, and I got to meet and chat with Adrian and Tom from No Doubt.

friday was definitely my best. the weather was nice [it was never too hot], most the bands i wanted to see were in tents [meaning shade], we were never wandering around with nothing to do, danced with the cutestt guys in the sahara tent during felix da housecat & benny benassi.
