Anyone lucky enough to pick up a Coachella 2007 poster for $20? I bought one for myself and a friend, then intended to get 2 more for friends on Sunday when I noticed the price got changed to $60. Apparantly they were mispriced Friday. Now they're going on Ebay for $125+. I'm keeping mine.

I bought the EMEK poster on sunday...I was surprised to see it. I asked in 2004 if EMEK would do one because he's an LA artist. He said something about there being too many issues with management of every band, but I guess since there's no lineup on the poster it worked out.

Only the regular line up one will be sold online. They sold out of the special printed ones. IF you want the other one, better look on e bay.

My friend in NYC is really into collecting posters ... he told me to pick one up for him, I said I'd get 3 (one for me, him and another friend) ... he told me they are $60.

When I got three they charged me $60 .... I had no idea they were supposed to be $60 each ... my friend, while thankful, went bananas ... he was not shocked when I stated "Yeah, some dude next to me bought like 50 of them."

EMEK (the artist) is a big deal in the poster community ... so much that some dude stopped me yesterday in Oakland Airport when I got home to talk about it ... and, man, I don't think there was a hint of the front of the poster even showing, but this kid knew exactly what it was.

I convinced them to hold it for me, you shouldve too. And since I bought like $150 worth of stuff from that booth I think they wanted to be nice about it.

I would have had no idea about the poster (or the artist) except someone asked me to buy a couple for him. I saw the poster from across the booth, but it was only when the vendor guy laid it out in front of me did I realize how incredible it is.

I decided at that point that the price for my effort would be exactly one extra poster. It is absolutely insane. I'm so thankful that someone pointed out what I would have easily pasted by.

That's what I love about Coachella. There is always something around the next corner that will blow your mind.
