3 Day
After getting your first 3 day Coachella, what do you think?
depends...... but im going with 3
as predicted by nostradamus
it was rough, and i guess i only had 2 and a half days because i didn't get there on friday until 6 (missed of montreal...i cried a little.) but 3 days is way better than 2. fuck it, push the start time to 3 or 4 pm each day and make it a 4 day festival. avoid the sun.
Three days, no doubt...
By the third day, everyone develops a thick skin to the heat, or maybe that was just me.
yeah i was less tired on sunday
as predicted by nostradamus
3 days.. The weekend still went by sooo quick.
OUTKAST 2014
Röyksopp, FC Kahuna, Télépopmusik, The Knife, RJD2, Futue Sound of London, The Avalanches, 808 State, Zero 7, Tycho, Mr. Scruff
3 Days is the exact perfect amount.
I used up every last drop of everything I had in me just to make it to the end.
Loved every minute.

I can't believe it's over too...but, 3 days was a bit much. I would do it again, but would be just as happy with 2 again.
I would say 2 days with better headliners. I only liked Bjork as a headliner, and Saturday was almost completely useless for me.
upcoming
Bjork doing Biophilia, 6/2 Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, CA
Outside Lands, 8/9-11 Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA
--almost, almost, almost the real thing
not a vet, but have to say that was the quickest 3 days of my life
since a lot of people like to consider Coachella their spiritual refreshing, 3 days seems very appropriate. It felt more removed from the world than other times. Harder for sure, but give me tres.
3, even though I was basically dead at the end of the last day.
also nice meeting you malcolm![]()
3 was fine with me. I was able to see a lto more things and not sacrifice as much as I have in previous years. I need to pace myself a little better though. I went balls to the wall saturday and Sunday I was hiding out for a long time.

"All right. This is our 'last song.' Then we are going to go backstage and then come back out for our encore and play a few more songs for you."
Goes without saying.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I loved 3 days, but I don't think I'd go 4.
3 is the magic number.
I'm somewhat of a special case, but I definitely prefer 2. The one good thing about 3 is that it allows me to choose Saturday plus my favorite of either Friday or Sunday. But I don't like the feeling of having missed an entire day.
I mean Bonnaroo is 4 days.
So yeah, the more Coachella the better.
Two fucking amazing days. Three is too tolling on the body, especially when camping.
two great days is fine for me...sunday was kinda usless for me except for Explosions in the Sky but i ended up not going sunday anyways due to my allergies.
lollipops and crisps
I liked the 3, but it was pretty stressful getting there on Friday. If you're traveling any kind of distance (say, flying in from the East coast) it takes massive planning and knowing stuff such as the rental car companies taking forever, the 10 getting horribly bogged down after 3pm, etc.
I would go with 3 days again next year. I was more exhausted this year for sure but Coachella seems to drain me in one way and energize me in another.
Not a vet but three days seemed pretty good, although i totally ran myself ragged friday and was just dead saturday morning i paced myself better and was good through sunday. The heat played more into it though than anything else.
3 days definately was awesome. On the way back home Monday morning I was complaining that I wished that there was another day of Coachella.
