So...I am one of a few Canadians hopefully getting down to California for this event they call "Coachella". lol. So...my fellow Canadians...what part of Canada are you from and how do you plan to get to California?
I'll start...I am currently living in Guelph Ontario for school but my hometown is in St. Cathatines Ontario.
How do I plan to get there? driving maybe? There are 5 of us going. Rotating drivers yay!!!
Does anyone know if there are trains that go to California from Southern Ontario or Buffalo or something???

I remember last year my friend and I were going to take a train from Los Angeles to ***** but there apparently wasn't a stop there at that time. So I'm not sure about that this year. It's easy to find out on google.

first two years i drove down all the way from edmonton (via vancouver to pick up friends)...doing the drive is a blast but the way home is looooooonnnnnggggg....

now i live in ottawa so flying's the way to go (thank you aeroplan)...we've got 6 canadians in our posse from ottawa, yellowknife, toronto and whistler...

My son and I are driving down from Vancouver. My wife and daughter will join us by air.

Coming from Vancouver too. Thought about bringing my son too but he can't get in the campground (14 years old) and that's the way to go. Been once before in '04. We're flying down.

Coming from Calgary, still haven't decided if we are driving or flying. We kinda decided we were going to this on Tuesday, and bought our tickets today so haven't had much time to really consider our options.

We've got three of us flying down from Vancouver. This will be the 4th year in a row we've gone down and I have to say this year's line up has me the most excited since Radiohead, Pixies and The Cure!!! For those of you going down for the first time, you'll have a blast, just bring lots of sun screen...

We have a group of 4 flying down from all over Western Canada. Two from the Northwest Territories, 1 from Edmonton, AB and 1 from Victoria, BC. What is everyone planning on doing so far as far as flying into Cali and accomodations while there?

Im in Vancouver, Im planning on flying to LA. How long does it take to drive? Id be up for a roadtrip. Although i wouldnt be able to take my family's car. Its pretty awesome to see that Canada will be reppin at Coachella.

We are at least 2 of us that will be flying from Montréal, Qc. It's only 550 $ each for a round trip and direct flight (with Air Canada) so I don't see the point of driving that much.

And the return trip will be a such a pain in the ass after three days of insane rock shows !!

So far I haven't seen many other Québec people, are they any ?

I live in Mississauga and have my coachella ticket, and will be booking my flight to LA soon. So far I am going solo, I couldn't find anyone who could go with me yet. I have no problem going solo, but if I could find some travelling companions, I would be up for that. I am very laid back and easy to get along with. So .........if anyone is in the same boat, and wants to be on the same plane, let me know.
