NO.... MORE... SAHARA TENT!!! That constant "thump-thump-thump-thump" almost drove me to murder somebody! It totally starting fucking up Amy Winehouse's perfect set! Man, that girl can sing! She was amazing!!!
3 steps from the bar... 2 steps from the floor... one step from the grave... and I'm havin' one more!
The Rage fans on Sunday--the vibe was so un-Coachella like except for the first year they played--the only 2 nights in all the years that we left early! We met a guy who came all the way from Spain to see Rage and he was bummed about the crowd on Sunday too. Golden Voice--please preserve the friendly cool atmosphere and no more Rage type crowds please!(ps--one of our group is A Rage fan and she left early too!)
I did not like the Cribs but endured them to get a good spot for the Fratellis and Hot Chip.
Other than that I was extremely pleased by the sets I saw. Other than being disappointed that I couldn't hear the Decemberists over Kings of Leon, and that Air had such a short set.
Why is everyone hating on Peaches? She was fantastic!
Peaches reminded me of a middle school pep rally.. yawn..left after 10 minutes. I thought JAMC kinda mailed in their performance and the lead singer had no stage presence what-so-ever.. Manu Chao gave me a head ache..

Guess no one else say Happy Mondays. It was a car crash. Shaun has forgotten almost all the lyrics to his songs. Using two teleprompters didn't seem to help. It was a car crash from start to finish.
Can't see any promoter signing the Mondays up until he gets his shit together.
Peaches wasn't bad at all, except the sound of course - but I only blame the technicians for that.
Tilly & The Wall were awful. I used to be a fan, but not anymore.
Lilly Allen was just as bad.
LCD Soundsystem, I don't know why everyone loves them, but they blow live.
i am not surprised to hear a lot of people mention peaches as the worst act
i would avoid her like the plague.
god shes awful.
Coachella Weekend 1, Mt. Eerie 4/16, Rhye 5/10, Bjork 6/11, Baths 7/17, Bosnian Rainbows 6/24, Portugal The Man 7/10, Pixies 9/11, GY!BE 9/14, Atoms For Peace 10/16, Animal Collective 10/21, Arcade Fire 10/29 & 10/31, Deltron 3030 11/24
Luckily I didn't catch any bad performances. Never really had to walk out on anyone.
I unfortunately caught the end of Girl Talk as I came in for Mike Relm, but I'm sure there were people in that tent enjoying the performance.
I walked by Placebo and they sounded like shite. i was going to see them for a bit, but kept on walking to the tents. God damn that voice is AWFUL. and i have one of their albums and sorta dig em
Friday afternoon the heat got to me so i stayed in the shade drinking water and listening to Tilly and the wall. Many people here seemed to hear sound problems, but i think they sounded pretty good. I was enjoying their set from a distance.
Air was a fucking joke. Really lame euro pop. Cant believe I missed manu chao for them.
Good the bad and the queen seemed like a real boring downer
cornelius was interesting to say the least, but sorta annoying. he played to an empty gobi tent. it was cool to watch for a bit, but i quickly moved on. Hot japanese girls in the audience though.
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.
kaiser chiefs were awful i couldnt stand watching them but i really wanted to see placebo right after so i standed there listening to lame ass music.
arcade fire....they cant even play there own music right....
Of montreal....and Air just because they didn't play that long and came out 30 minutes late and said nothing.
What I don't understand is what people exactly expected from Happy Mondays. Of COURSE they were going to be a carcrash, if you knew ANYTHING about them at all, you'd know this. Some jackass in the crowd yelled out, "Come On, I want Happy Mondays! Get it together!" I turned around and said "WTF did you expect" and a guy behind me said "exactly. Happy Mondays and Together are a contradiction in terms."
In any event, I enjoyed their set. It was great to be in a crowd with mostly like-minded people and although it took Shaun 4 or 5 songs before he seemed to realize where he was and what he was supposed to be doing, he did better than I thought he'd do.

Peaches are shit. You're an idiot if you were even there to see them. They haven't done anything significant for 20+ years.
seriously all songs about margaritas should be barred from being played.
The ice from the snow cone vendor near the outdoor stage was not as fine as the ice form the snow cone vendor in the main food court. Pieces of ice kept falling out of my cup!
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Tokyo Police Club:
I missed the rest of comedians for that? I used to be a fan.
Sooo boring, and they started late. I was more impressed with Interpol, and I don't even like Interpol. But I still want to see Brazilian Girls.
Awesome set so I can't say much, but I would have liked to see a differant approach besides the horns and choir.
On the positive side Rufus Wainwright was amazing.
RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS:
This band was borderline amusing 6 years ago...
Im glad I only caught the amount I did between Blonde Redhead and The Black Keys.
It was kinda cool to catch a bit of their set but I can't say much.
Besides that, The Black Keys made this trip worth every penny.
The Kaiser Cheifs:
This band is god awful.
Rage Against the Machine
Initially Tom Morello used the reunion as a "blow" to the Bush administration...why was the only political banter (or any banter at that) in between one of their songs? Someone please explain cause I might go crazy...
The highlights had to be Explosions and Rodrigo Y Gabriela, fuck can they shred. I want to hear their thrash metal band they used to be in that they were talking about. Air and The Roots are worth a good mention too.
I didn't see anyone that disappointed me. I guess I made all good choices.
