I missed Justice while I was at Girl Talk, but I don't have any regrets, as it was quite a spectacle. My friends saw Justice and said they were amazing. I apparantly didn't do enough acid to clone myself.
Did anybody notice So Me stage diving towards the end of Busy P & DJ Mehdi's set....Busy and Mehdi were also standing right next to me during justice...I didn't bother getting a picture because I was dancing. Ed Banger killed it on saturday...Any reports from the parties on sunday and monday?
dude i didn't ever fiind bosco. i was up in the front, but did see the lime green shirt.
Bosco, Summerkid and i were up front when Busy P pointed to Bosco before he came on.. then he went out and handed the first t-shirt out to Bosco and i got one of those water balloon bracelets from that super hot girl in the balloon outfit. And during justice's set Medhi and Busy P were chilling in the crowd about a foot to the left of me. It was intense.

soooooooooooooo glad i made it out to justice. bummed though that i had to leave early (my cell phone battery had died by that point and i had a pre-arranged plan to meet up w/ someone midway during girl talk... but GT definitely wasn't too shabby either!)

Justice dropped the dirtiest, nastiest basslines the last 20 minutes that I have ever heard. Started out a bit slow, but good god, they pushed the Sahara sound system to the limit.
Pretty insane overall.
JUSTICE FOR LIFE

Justice put on an amazing show. I'll post some video later.
Without a doubt, Justice was my highlight for Saturday. Can't wait for there full length lp to drop.
god I fucked up so bad. for the first time I gave into doing the whole "lets all see this band together it will be fun!" thing with girl talk. the whole drive I was like "we have to see justice." I fucked up so bad. I want to cry.
justice fucking rocked. i was front center but i had to cut out for a little because it was so hot up there, and i was super bummed about that 'cause they started doing the simian "we are your friends" thing...luckily i made it back up to the front for lcd soundsystem.
call me grandpa hipster, but weren't they a bit too loud?
SHIT YEAH THEY WERE![]()

i'm curious, what were they actually playing? were those patch synths just there for show? because their music is very sample-based. and how about the amps, is that for show as well? i dont know why you would need/want amps for an electronic performance in the sahara.
did the songs sound straight up like the recordings or were they actually live versions? i would guess they would just be playing abelton live, kind of like daft punk style, but i'm really not sure
The patch synths were actually used. He came out and switched some up and kept going. It was all live and all done right in front of you.
for some reason i heard people saying it was a Dj set, but i mean i highly doubt they brought out AMPS and a bunch of shinny equipment and stuff just for show. especially when they announced before hand that it was live. I'm just wondering what was on the other side, like what they were messing with. cuz it seemed like all the knobs were facing the crowd..
Your back hurt? Try keeping the camera up with one hand for 8 minutes at a time then come talk to me.

Nope, I am not wasting another 2 hours to upload the video. And wait 30 mins I guess.
i'm sure it was live to some degree. i'm not trying to call them out or anything. but did you actually see them playing the synth at any point? their whole aesthetic is very cut+paste. their songs don't sound like them playing synths, so it'd suprise me to see them actually up there not playing computers.
i'd be interested to hear how the live versions differed from the recordings.
also, that live set up definitely looks like they were trying to maximize the visual appear of the stage show. i mean, the wall of amps and that patch-chord synth. there's easier ways to go about that in a live set up.
