Oh so true! This was by far one of those unique Coachella moments that can only happen @ Coachella. I wish I would have saw more of the show - made it towards the last 20 minutes or so.

Yeah I missed them to wait in the grueling hell hole called "the pit at the mainstage" for Arcade Fire, I even had to sit through Kings of Leon...their music almost made me sick, I still don't know why the Decemberists were not on the main stage, oh well I am going to the show at the Bowl anyways...anybody got their setlist for Saturday?

I was stuck in the first aid tent on Saturday as they were playing, so at that time i was happy just to even be hearing them. During Mariner's Revenge I heard all the ooohs and aaahs and saw the cameras come flying out but I couldnt see the stage from where i was at. that makes me very sad. hahaha. hopefully it comes out again at the hollywood bowl.

Decemberists were actually kinda of disappointing for me. Mariner's Revenge was a lot of fun tho.

I only caught the first bit of their set then headed over to get squished and sweated on to death for Arcade Fire. I'd already seen the Decemberists back in October so thought I wouldn't miss too much, guess I was wrong. So what exactly is this whale business everyone is talking about?!

Hahaha, it's a date, but I'm sure we'll be at some of the same gigs before next year so who knows.

Yeah seems you got close for a lot. I was cool to be on the outskirts for most of the bands I saw, especially the ones who played in the midday heat. But I got pretty close for CSS, Klaxons, and Damien Rice so I was happy about that.

The Decemberists were amazing. They were my favorite of the festival. I love Rage too, but the Decemberists put on one hell of a show.

Anyone have a possible setlist for the Decemberists?

I wanted to find out that 2nd song they played, the first time the accordion was busted out.

I had never seen them before prior to Coachella 07 and they were ridiculously sick, I liked them a lot. So, please tell me that song, haha.

i've seen them twice before but never have they ever rocked as hard as they did on saturday. i was absolutely blown away. being in the front, on the gate....oh my god, it was absolutely amazing.
