Faithless = This year's Sahara treasure?

The sound was a bit loud (almost distorted) where I was but WOW...can these guys put on a show! Totally dug everything Faithless offered us and Maxi Jazz was absolutely brilliant.\

i completely agree! faithless was the best performance i have ever seen. i think this is the one that everyone will be talking about. it has only been day one though... i was floored though. i thought it was amazing.

I've waited 10 years to finally catch them live here in the US (last tour I was living in TX and no one stops in Texas...) I only wished their set was longer and yes the sound had some problems but in the overall scheme of things, no worries.

AMAZING, I was there front and center. I had no complaints about the sound, it sounded wonderful upclose. TOTALLY WORTH RUNNING TO BJORK.

It was all too light up. Like normal lights were on. I loved the lasers and stage lights and strobes and all that, but it was WAY too bright. I could see things I didn't really want to see.

i agree that it was too light, but still one of the best shows i've been to. I had a blast. THey knew how to get the place going for sure. Never seen music like that live before.

I expected this show to be amazing - yet I was still blown away! Definitely the highlight of Coachella even up there with DepecheMode/Daftpunk 2006. The energy in the crowd feeding off Maxi-Jazz, Sister Bliss, Rollo and the others was an experience I have not felt before. I was so blown away - nothing was impossible that night it seemed - It would not have surprised me had Dido walked out on stage with Rollo to make the crowd go further into a frenzy! I WANT MORE!

I was simply blown away by Faithless. They were the main reason for me going on Friday. I had high expectations and they were definitely exceeded. Maxi Jazz did a great job in getting the crowd involved. I don't know how people were reacting to them near the back, but I know that where I was (close to the front) people were going crazy for them. Hopefully we'll have a stateside tour soon?

Right after they finished I headed over to see Bjork, and although she sounded great, it was kind of an anti-climatic end to the night.
