and i'd skip on Kings. They were fine live, but they'll be around again. probably a better show for a smaller venue. i saw them open for the strokes.

Decemberists will probably be great. I saw them a few years back at the troubadour and could easily see them doing a killer set at sundown to a very large crowd. i'd say decemberists, but go with your gut.

my worst conflict (this is fictional mind you...) would be Radiohad/Bjork/Sigur Ros..I would have to kill myself...That would be the worst conflict imaginable...Everything at Coachella this year I can handle..

I go with the band that meets this criteria first:
1. How often do the play the U.S.? (think Air)
2. How much their shows/concerts cost.

If its a band that I know tours a lot and has cheap shows (which for most of these bands are around 10-15 bucks.) It makes more sense to me to see a band that their shows/concerts cost more at coachella. Then if I miss bands I wanted to see ill wait for them to tour.

when in conflict, i ALWAYS see the band from overseas. there are some (a la travis) that never come over here! can't miss them once you finally get a chance!

I agree 150%. Can't miss a band that never plays here or you'll be stuck waiting (possibly years) for them to play here again. that's why it's #1 on priorities.
