About renting a car

Im flying to LAX and was thinking about renting a car and driving from there.
The thing is, i only have a Swedish license, will that be a problem and if so what should i do about it?

I know that when I went to Germany I had to get an international drivers license, but I have no idea when it comes to driving in the states. Maybe you should call up a rental car agency and ask.

Eric, you'll need to check the individual car rental companies' policies on international drivers. I do believe most require an international driver's license.

Look into Dolllar Rent A Car, Enterprise, or Hertz. All are reliable and somewhat inexpensive.
