I've been in the crowd for a few shows with similar grids (Underworld for example), though I don't know what the power rating was on those grids.

I think Tool as well, though don't remember if it was aimed at the crowd.

Maybe they could aim it high in the air, well above everyone's heads. So no blindness lawsuits. The Sahara has a pretty high ceiling.

After watching that, I am now bummed I never found out about Evil Nine.

Evil Nine isn't 'headlining' the Sahara tent. They're just performing last in it due to scheduling. Faithless would be considered the headliner Fri night....and yes, sometimes Headliners play earlier in the evening...look at Madonna last year.

No, they can have lasers.. but they have to be, I believe at least 3 feet aboves anyones head in America. Coachella has had lasers the past few years.. so I would assume they would have one again this year.. I'm hoping for a big 20 Watt on the main stage for Tiesto.

Oh I thought you meant it was the same laser system.. Yeah, they are not that rare.. You'll see high powered lasers and any massive rave and some smaller ones as well..

LOL.. Why is everyone calling it a Laser Grid?? Just say a laser show system, laser, laser scanners.. Come on people, get with the times! Lasers are the future! It would be nice as hell to see Coachella with an RGB laser!!
