We've been making huge efforts to help make The Coachella Valley Music & Arts festival more environmentally friendly. Part of this effort is encouraging and reminding you to please CARPOOL to the festival.

Carpool with four (4) or more to a vehicle and you could win VIP tickets to Coachella for LIFE! Here's how.....

Simply write the word CARPOOLCHELLA on a 3x5 piece of paper (or larger) and place on your Dash and arrive at the festival between 9am-5pm. One time each day of the festival days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), a SECRET SPOTTER will be out in the parking lots watching you park. At some random time, a random car with 4 or more people with a CARPOOLCHELLA sign on their dash will win! Each person in the car will win a VIP pass for Life starting 2008.

The SECRET SPOTTER will let you know you've won and have you fill out all the prize winning paperwork on the spot!

what about the people that are onsite camping? in order to be eligable, will we have to get in our cars and re-park every day in order to participate? seems like a waste of gas to me.

I don't think they allow RVs into the parking lot...I can't confirm that, though.

you can park in the day time with an rv, it is strongly suggested you arrive early.

Lame! All of the contests are only for US citizens. The people in other parts of the world would like free CD's too! Maybe putting up a Canadian contest too and ones for the rest of the world. The prizes are picked up at the event.

I was thinkin on pickin up some hitchhikers and droppin em off in the parking lot just to be eligible... I drive a tiny car and can't really hold more than 2 ppl anyway really... but US only sounds fair to me they don't want to give free for life passes to you foreigners...
